Export and save
The formats NeoMath writes, the difference between saving and exporting, resolution and background.
On this page
Any image written by NeoMath can be opened again in NeoMath to keep editing, with the same style, and Batch style redoes whole folders at once.
Save and export#
- Save (Ctrl+S) writes the tab’s equation in the chosen format and uses that file as the tab’s destination from then on. Save as (Ctrl+Shift+S) picks another file.
- Export as writes a copy in any format, without changing the tab’s destination.
- Save all tabs… shows up with more than three tabs and writes them all at once, with folder, prefix, number and suffix.

Resolution and background#
- PNG: resolution from 36 to 2400 dpi; transparent or white background.
- GIF: white or transparent background (pixels with less than 50% opacity become transparent).
- SVG as outlines does not depend on the fonts of whoever opens it; SVG with text is smaller and searchable.
